“ Get the sunset roll! Best roll I’ve ever had. Everything was PHENOMENAL! And their hand rolls are authentic (not the Americanized cone), with super fresh fish! Some is even imported from Japan! We added a quail egg and it was wonderful. Miso soup was fabulous, toasted rice in the green tea, also the mochi green tea ice cream. Excellent all around, service people were super sweet and attentive too. ”

One huge highlight for us- in addition to the the excellent flavors, the sushi stayed in roll form while dipping in soy sauce with chopsticks. Well done everyone, we will make this a regular date night! Yum! We had the spider roll, rainbow roll, hamachi roll, unagi roll, miso soup, 2 large Sapporo's, 2 large hot saki's- all just under 100 before tip. Amazing! ”

We recommend the Ryoshi roll, the Sunset roll, gyoza for appetizer had the spicy tuna roll and a crab and Eel Nigiri. The food was incredible. “ Best sushi I've had throughout my 15 years in Bend. The selection of fish surpasses the 5 or 6 standard options that every sushi bar carries with an astounding fresh/specialty board that's visible from virtually every seat in the restaurant. The Nigri came pre dressed with house shoyu, caviar and other accoutrements leaving the provided soy sauce and wasabi unnecessary. Wagyu and tuna o'toro were my favorites. The uni selection was fresh and beautiful. Service and atmosphere are traditional and authentic. I can not speak for sushi rolls or entrees as I am a nigiri forward guest, yet I believe there would be little to no disappointment in those areas based on what I saw other customers eating. Definitely worth a try for anyone who loves sushi and japanese culinary in general. ”
